Research & Engineering

ETC delivers advanced research, engineering, and analytical expertise to address complex challenges in national security. Building on a strong foundation in energetics, ETC’s capabilities have expanded to include robotics and autonomy, machine discovery, advanced manufacturing, and modeling.

Across all efforts, ETC combines deep technical insight with disciplined execution to deliver high-quality results.

Chemical Supply Network Analysis

ETC conducts supply chain risk assessments for critical chemicals, energetic materials, and their precursors. By analyzing vulnerabilities and dependencies, ETC helps strengthen the resilience of the defense industrial base and ensures the reliability of materials essential to mission readiness.

Micro-electromechanical Systems (MEMS)

In collaboration with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), ETC supports research and development in micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) and experimental studies of energetic material behavior. This work advances fundamental understanding while informing practical system applications.

Advanced Manufacturing

ETC supports the modernization of energetics manufacturing through the integration of advanced processing technologies and digital tools. Expertise includes process development, quality data analytics, and the adoption of automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across production environments.

System Modeling & Design

ETC applies advanced modeling and simulation techniques to evaluate system performance, safety, and mission effectiveness. Capabilities include missile trajectory analysis and the design and development of warhead and propulsion subsystems, enabling informed decisions across the engineering lifecycle.
