Bob Kavetsky co-founded ETC in 2006 to develop research, science, and engineering programs in Southern Maryland. He served as ETC’s Executive Director, and then President. He is now the company’s CEO. Mr. Kavetsky worked for 32 years in the Department of the Navy, where he built and operated hypersonic wind tunnels and developed undersea weapons. He also served as the first Warfare Center Liaison to the Office of Naval Research. He established the N-STAR program, a Navy-wide effort to promote science and technology within the Navy’s Warfare Centers. Additionally, Bob has co-authored 11 books on national defense topics. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Administration from Catholic University.
