Dr. Brad Baker brings over 35 years of military experience to ETC starting as an enlisted Sailor through service as a Captain in the Navy. He has degrees in Marine Engineering, Joint Campaign Planning and Strategy, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering providing ETC a broad coverage of experience in technical programs and strategic policy decisions in the DOD. He served over twenty years in the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program before becoming a Permanent Military Professor for over ten years. Based on his development of additive manufacturing capability at the United States Naval Academy over many years, he was recognized as one the twenty most influential academics in smart manufacturing in 2021. His technical areas of expertise include materials science, nuclear engineering, microscopy, and most recently additive manufacturing.
