Dr. Wilson has been a Principal Engineer for ETC since he retired from the Department of Defense (DoD) in July 2016. He manages ETC’s Machine Discovery and Innovation project. Before retiring, he worked for the DoD at the Navy’s White Oak labs, the Air Force’s Munitions Directorate at Eglin AFB, NSWC Indian Head, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Over his DoD career, Bill researched detonation science and energetic materials development, the last 12 years as Program Manager of DTRA’s Advanced Energetics Program.
