Ralph Balestrieri supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division as a consultant for munition fuze and initiation systems. Mr. Balestrieri has over 40 years of experience in Fuze/Safety and Arming systems and MEMS design, development, and testing. Prior to retiring he served on the Navy’s Fuze and Initiation Systems Technical Review Panel and the Joint Services Fuze and Ignition System Safety Authorities. Ralph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Master of Mechanical Engineering degree from Catholic University.
